In January of 2017, we shot these men as a tribute to the work they have done for us over the years and sheer dedication on the job. ⠀

Being in the industry for over a decade, we have worked with a number of lightmen, who have constantly dedicated their lives behind the scene, lighting up our shoots since 2008. Their job to light up a shoot is done effortlessly. Keeping in mind the years they have worked with us and support they have given, we decided to shoot their portraits to showcase these men. These lightmen have never faced the camera before. This was the first time they have faced one, not for testing the light but to stand as a model. The shoot was not staged but was done while they were on their duty. ⠀

A memorable shoot for us and compelling set of portraits that we felt had to be given emphasis at the end of this year. Its a tribute to those who are less known for their punctuality; unflinchingly and tirelessly shoot day in and day out & support photographers and filmmakers; harsh and calm.
